Fake Military profiles on Yahoo

I have had a several people over the past 5 months contact me about fake military and fake police yahoo IDs. The major complaint is the person posing as police or military send disturbing and hateful messages to military personnel and their friends.

If you have been a victim of one of these hate mongers with fake IDs. Always feel free to contact me and I will do the best I can to help shut the haters yahoo page down.

I recommend leaving the hate message on your page and contact me and yahoo "report abuse" at yahoo report abuse be sure and mention it is a hate message and leave it on your page so they and I can see and investigate it. I would also say it may be good if you note a response weather it be in mypage comments or Blog comments leave a message adjacent to it and Note that you have contacted yahoo in regards to the message and for your friends to be patient and aware of why you left the hate message. Give us week sometimes longer.

Also do not contact or leave a message on a hate mongers site/Blog. They feed off that and you basically are putting fuel on the fire and giving them what they want. Put the profile on ignore so the person can not re-post to your page and let your friends know. Often times the hate mongers will target your friends list if you do leave a comment on their page. So you can see its best to leave it to reporting the abuse for you and your friends sake. One thing you can do is make a fake ID if you wish to expose a fake ID. Then they wont be able to go after your friends. Also if you get a second ID shut down well np eh..... you still have your main yahoo ID and your friends intact.

Often times I just take certain information that I may know for granted, and think it is common sense or public knowledge. So Please ask me questions. Yahoo Questions and Answers

I really enjoy the Yahoo forum called "questions and answers". Someone once said "there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers."

Having said that you can view my dumb (wink) answers link on right side of the Yahoo Q&A - Bar below.

Here was a good question and my attempt to answer same:

How do I edit my Blog Roll?

I want to make links to my blog posts.

Also how do I add a favorite web site?

Answer:
How to add Links to your Yahoo 360 Page / Blog Roll.

Say I do an Entry about yahoo Q and A.

What I do is add “tags” (link is on the bottom of you Blog entries)

Add “tags” like:

yahoo, questions, answers, .yahoo_q_a

Something like .yahoo_q_a would be a good Target “tag”

Here are two (2) methods to use this:

After you publish the Blog entry click the tag with the “.text” copy the address from your internet explorer address bar. It should look like this:

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-maffXBw4eqgt97WCgUjX?tag=.yahoo_q_a

You can also do it this way:

Copy/past your Blogs Address, then Edit it and add you yahoo id and the tag as follows

Example Copied Link shown here:

Another way is say I want to link my entry about Ahmed Shah Massoud the “Lion of Panjshir”

So I click “top page” (link near your yahoo picture, top left) not “my top page” then click “Blog” not “My Blog”

It may look like this:

Then you will need to edit that

Use your yahoo id and the dot “tag” (.massoud in this case)

Then replace the text in “Blog Roll” as follows

Delete the “blog-maffXBw4eqgt97WCgUj”

Add your info (yahoooID?tag=.text) like this, ianbach?tag=.massoud like shown here:
http://blog.360.yahoo.com/ianbach?tag=.massoud

Add a link: Click the “Edit My Blog Roll”

Copy the web page address

Paste it on right side and write a description of the Link on the left.

Add you profile link: Be sure like mentioned above that you don’t click “My Top Page” or the link won’t work since that’s Your logged in status page, and can’t be viewed by others. So click the “Top Page” link above your yahoo Avatar or Picture.

It should look like this:

If it looks like this you are looking at your view not public view:
