Virtual Private Network (VPN) A virtual private network is a connection from your computer to another network. Some of you may be familiar with these type of connections as they are widely used by businesses to handle their internal communications needs and to allow employees to access systems from remote locations. Setup properly, they can also be used by anyone to create a safer connection to the internet and have the added benefit of disguising your true location. Click the link below for a short tutorial on the different types of
VPN connections and encryption.
Virtual Private Networks

The Onion Network (TOR) The Tor (The Onion Router) Network is a means of relaying your traffic to either an exit node (whereby your traffic then exits the network and into the open web) or to a hidden service/site maintained within the network itself. The traffic is routed through an 'untrusted' relay circuit, whereby each relay node only knows the node before it and the node after, thus no complete list of nodes used to route your traffic can be enumerated. The network exhibits end-to-end encryption but only within itself: if your traffic is not encrypted in the first place, any person data-sniffing the exit node will be able to see where you are then going and what you are doing while there.  Tor Information

Security Security online is a very long and involved subject. The various possibilities and methods of securing your client computer are combined by you to suit your unique environment. No one solution is good for every internet user. The reason for this is simple: We all use the internet in different ways. Some surf the web and read emails. Others spend their days on social media sites and twitter. Most do some degree of business online, either paying bills or making purchases. For these reasons, we cannot possibly cover every aspect of online life and we will make no attempt to cover every situation. We can give you a start and from there, we can assist you more once you are connected to the network. Click the link below and read the information, as many times as you have to until you have a basic understand then we can move to the next phase. Security Handbook

Encryption Recent news of how extensive the NSA's efforts to compromise internet security might make privacy seem impossible, but there is still hope. Edward Snowden said it in an online Q&A soon after he made his first document public: "Encryption works. Properly implemented strong crypto systems are one of the few things that you can rely on." We've put together a short primer to help get you started with more secure email (and files). Email Encryption Basics

IRC Clients  The IRC client is the application that allows you to connect to the IRC servers. The clients are free, easy to use but the initial setup can be confusing. New report by David Kilcullen and others regarding Aleppo Syria

David Kilcullen and others have completed a 4 month review of the situation and facts on the ground within Aleppo Syria. The findings have been compiled into a 97 page report about their findings. They interviewed people in both rebel and regime held areas.

I have been reviewing the report and this is the first of my summary of findings regarding the report.

  1. The center of Aleppo was not rebelling against the regime, so the rebels took the fight to those areas. The center of the city is now the most fought over and the residents movement is now very restrictive.
  2. Regime forces control about 45% of Aleppo. The Syrian Air Force Intelligence oversees regime-controlled areas away from the front lines. The Republican Guard is deployed to protect some of Aleppo’s most tense front lines.
  3. Bread in regime held areas is about 1/3rd to 1/5th the cost compared to rebel held areas.
  4. 40% of the people feel that “no one” represents them,
  5. Al Qaeda-affiliates remain strong in Aleppo. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ISIS controls 1/3rd of all opposition held neighborhoods. Their checkpoints are the most restrictive and intimidating, residents avoid these checkpoints as  much as possible.
  6. There is 62 different CSO’s Civil Society Organizations acting within Aleppo.
  7. ISIS Controlled the Aleppo national Hospital for the entire period of the survey until January 8th 2014, when rebel forces stormed the Hospital to release several hundred of their brothers in arms who had been imprisoned by ISIS. Since the takeover stories have emerged about the brutality of ISIS
  8. The Busiest checkpoints are regime held. At each of these checkpoints approximately 35,000 – 45,000 people cross each day. As many as 60% do so to buy foodstuffs. Opposition held areas have banned people from regime areas to buy foodstuffs in rebel held areas. Many of these people cross to visit family, receive salaries, and even to pay their utility bills.
  9. The areas with the highest crime are in the rebel held areas.
  10. The rebels control most of the north, north eastern, eastern and southeast areas of Aleppo
  11. The Syrian regime controls the west and into the center of Aleppo
  12. North of Aleppo is Turkey. This is where most of the weapons are flowing from to supply all of the various rebel groups. Also foreign fighters enter via Turkey into Syria north of Aleppo.
  13. The rebels are supported by various domestic and foreign Islamic charities.
  14. The ISIS is back by al Qaeda and it gets its money from various sources around the world. The main backers are wealthy Arab Sunni’s in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt.

Wahhabism - Please Read This

Wahhabism is not a sect. It is the name of a reform movement. It is the conduit of the modern spread of terrorism. The previous Posts show you legislation regarding Saudi Arabia's influence and spread of Wahhabism in America. The goal of the Wahhabist propaganda is to create more terrorists. This ideology "Wahhabism" has recent roots in Serbia, Bosnia, Somalia, Sudan, Algeria, and is spreading. It teaches hate, much like the Hitler Youth Movement in the 1930's, the terrorists/Wahhabists goals are to brain wash young minds and mold them into people who will hate anyone who does not follow their views. Currently the European infestation of the Wahhabi ideology stems from the Bosnia War. The Wahhabist are the people who wage Jihad. They spread hate propaganda much like Hitler and Gerbil. We must stop these people by any means necessary. My Next Post I will give some insight into how to spot a follower of Wahhabism.- Ian Bach

The following is some of the information I found regarding Jihad and Wahhabism and how it has spread throughout the World and why it must be stopped as soon as possible. - Ian Bach

Wahabism is a branch of Islam practiced by those who follow the teachings of Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab, after whom the movement is named. Ibn Abdul Wahhab, who reintroduced Shariah (Islamic) law to the Arabian peninsula, was influenced by the writings of scholars such as Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ibn Taymiyya. This theology is the dominant form found in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, as well as some pockets of Somalia, Algeria, Palestine and Mauritania.

"Wahabism" is among the most conservative forms of Islam?[says wikipedia - I call BS on that. - Ian bach]

Others have described the doctrine as inspiring violence and intolerance. [I agree says Ian Bach]

Ibn Abdul-Wahhab went so far as to declare jihad against Muslims who practiced so-called acts of polytheism. Ibn Abdul-Wahhab's views were totally opposite to those of the renowned Muslim scholars of Mecca and Medina of that time. For example, he called intermediation of the Prophet an act of polytheism.

Wahhabis see their role as restoring Islam from what they perceive to be polytheism and innovations, superstitions, deviances, heresies and idolatries. There are many practices that they believe are contrary to Islam, such as:

  • Listening to hymns in praise of the Prophet Muhammad
  • Praying to God while visiting tombs (praying near the Prophet Muhammad's tomb is also considered polytheism by the Wahhabis)
  • Blindly following any madhhabs (schools of thought) of Islamic jurisprudence in their legal expertise, "except for one who is under necessity and can not reach the Sunnah
  • Using non-literal explanations of God's attributes exclusively in preference to literal explanations.
  • Celebrating the milad (birthday of the Prophet Muhammad )
  • Supposed or actual innovations (bid'ah) in matters of religion (e.g. new supplementary methods of worship or laws not sanctioned by Ibn Abdul-Wahab)
  • Killing of any Muslim or Non-Muslim who opposes them in any way
  • Killing of Muslims who interact the Non-Muslim is considered as Jihad and the best way to enter paradise to the extent that it is more important than praying salat (one of the pillars of Islam).
  • Killing of Innocent Women and children as acceptable even if they are casulty of war, although in Islam these group of people are protected whether Muslims or non-Muslims.

Wahhabism also denounces "the practice of unthinking adherence to the interpretations of scholars and the blind acceptance of practices that were passed on within the family or tribe. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab believed in the responsibility of the individual Muslim to learn and obey the divine commands as they were revealed in the Quran and in the hadith."

This theology spread into Oman during the mid 1700's AD where it played a role in the internal disputes and succession struggles of the country. Ultimately however, its influence lessened over time

Modern spread of Wahhabism

In 1924 the al-Saud dynasty (who were influenced by the teachings of Abdul Wahhab) conquered Mecca and Medina, the Muslim holy cities. This gave them control of the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage, and the opportunity to preach their version of Islam to the assembled pilgrims. However, Wahhabism was a minor current within Islam until the discovery of oil in Arabia, in 1938. Vast oil revenues gave an immense impetus to the spread of conservative Islamic theology. Saudi laypeople, government officials and clerics have donated many tens of millions of US dollars to create religious schools, newspapers and outreach organizations.

Wahhabism is also thought to have had a large impact on the Qatar peninsula. It was embraced by many of the tribes of the peninsula and was a motivating factor in the efforts of the Al Thani clan (the current ruling dynasty of Qatar) to resist attempted conquest by the Al Khalifa clan (the current ruling dynasty of Bahrain) who rejected Wahhabism. Wahhabism also set Qatar apart from the rest of the Persian Gulf States. This may have been part of the reason that Qatar did not join the United Arab Emirates as was suggested by the British at the time.

Wahhabism in Qatar and Saudi Arabia

Get out your Google Earth and check look at Qatar this is a small country but it is significant in the war on terror. There are many followers of Wahhabism here. Wahhabism started in mid 1700s in Saudi Arabia. Wahhabism faded out for many years up until about the early 1900's

It has spread now to many other Countries. These include Pakistan, Algeria, Somalia, Sudan, Qatar, Palestine, Serbia, Bosnia, and now it is being spread throughout Europe, Americas, Southeast Asia, and even Australia. Saudi Arabia has been a big producer of propaganda magazines to spread Wahhabism. In 2005 the US Senate started to take further actions against the hate propaganda.

Please understand not all Saudis' or Arabs are Wahhabist. But today most of the people approx. 90% mostly the poor and disenfranchised in Saudi Arabi are followers of wahhabism. The Royal Family are not followers and do not want Wahhabism. Since about 1995 Bin Laden and his followers have sought to takeover the power of the Saudi Royal Family and to overthrow the Saudi Arabian government. There are some very powerful and influential people and some Clerics in Saudi Arabia who preach and spread Wahhabism. One area is in the Southwest of Saudi Arabia is where Bin Laden spent much of his time in the Mosques as a young man. This is where he first started to learn about Radical Wahhabism and he started to practice and preach the hate and lies that wahhabism represents. End Note....

NOTE: People like Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Al Zarqawy, etc... are the preachers and teachers of Wahhabism today. End Note....

Bin Laden who is sorta the bastard child of royal family had syrian mother who his dad divorced soon after bin laden was born. Bin Laden has never been a true part of royal family, he was not included in family vacations and he has been described as a loner during his childhood years, and this may be part of reason he talks so bad about, and hates the Saudi Royal Family.

Prior to 911 Sudan wanted to kick Osama out of Sudan, But the Saudi royal family had already disowned him by this point because of his actions. It has been stated by many reputable sources that Sudan attempted to hand Bin Laden over to USA but the Clinton Administration did not want the Liabilities that may have occured. This is about the time that Osama went to Afghanistan.

(In fact my investigations and that of others has shown that the Clinton Administration made many mistakes most of these were due to white house lawyers who felt doing anything would have unknown implications.... Well it's too bad they didn't make the move when they had so many chances.)

Saudis themselves do not use the term "Wahhabi", preferring to call themselves Unitarians - believers in one indivisible deity.

Bin Laden supporter at anti-US rally in Karachi

The Wahhabia movement Started sometime, around 1748 AD. The movement faded out somewhat until about 1928 when an alliance was created between the Wahhabi religious movement and the House of Saud - the family that has ruled the Saudi kingdom since its creation in the 1930s. In daily life, the Saudi religious establishment - the ulema - have imposed strict segregation of the sexes, an absolute prohibition of the sale and consumption of alcohol, a ban on women driving and many other social restrictions. The rules are enforced by the "mutawa", or religious police, who patrol the streets and shopping centres on the look-out for anyone breaking the rules.

Taleban version
There are some similarities between the Saudi interpretation of Islam and that of the ruling Taleban movement in Afghanistan. The Taleban, too, represent an unusually strict form of Sunni Islam - and restrictions on women, for example, are even tighter than in Saudi Arabia. But the Taleban are not Wahhabis. They belong to what is known as the Deobandi movement, named after the small town of Deoband in the Indian Himalayas. It was here that the movement was founded, in the 1860s, during the period of British rule in India. Over time, the movement has become a broad umbrella, including in its ranks Muslims who wish to remain aloof from politics - and others, like the Taleban, who are politically militant. It would be wrong to see either Bin Laden or the Taleban as typical of modern Sunni movements. They represent a radical fringe, rather than the Sunni mainstream.

Al jazeera TV is a propaganda of hate and lies Wahhabi use this to Spread their lies and to create more fear and to recruit more followers.

Recently Al Jazeera TV started to air its hate and lies in English. But American Business men made sure that all TV networks and Cable Providers would not broadcast Al Jazeera in America. But the al Jazeera TV station has gained more listeners. Now Iran has announced a new 24/7 Satelite TV station and this is very bad for all the world.

A World Wide Web of terrorist plotting

Bektasevic, 19, stands in court in January, when he was sentenced to 15 years in prision on terrorism charges. (Associated Press – January 10, 2007)

The Internet has become a virtual operations center replacing the Al Qaeda bases in Afghanistan and Bosnia.

I have been searching for, tracking movements of, known terrorists, suspect terrorists, and Islamic extremist sympathizers for about 4 months now.

The terrorists are spreading the "stop the war in Iraq" rhetoric. Also they are spreading the 9-11 conspiracy theories. They also are the ones who started the "it was Bush", "it was Isreal", or "it wasn't Arabs" theories. This is a tactic of Terrorism. One goal of the terrorists is to make citizens distrust their governments. This makes it easy for them to recruit and also for them to infiltrate and take over governments. They are currently using military terror tactics (guns and bombs) in over 60 countries; the worst areas infected today by the radical Islamic terror groups include Iraq, Somalia, Egypt, Algeria, Afghanistan, Turkey, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria. So as you can see if we pull out and don’t allow the time needed for the Iraqis to defend themselves against these forces it will be devastating for the world. The number of innocent civilian deaths will skyrocket over night. One other thing to consider is many of these countries have Christians, Jews, Hindi, and many other religions that will end up in genocide. Yes there is Christians in Iraq and those other countries.

Here is how my travel began. I saw a PBS special that talked about Afghanistan and how the Taliban wanted to destroy burn and eliminate anything that was not in accordance with their extremist views. However, the good (moderate Muslim) people of Afghanistan respect their heritage, history, art, music, and freedom. All of which were under attack by extremists. The moderates were able to hide (under penalty of torture and death) many things. Such as Artwork, The Gold Treasures from around 500 AD, and the original negatives of the nations film achieve (approx 50 yrs of film history - the Taliban did burn the prints but never knew the negatives had been hidden. After seeing this I knew the common Western View that "these people were all Radical Muslims and wanted to kill westerners", was a misconception AND A LIE.

So I started looking for and shutting down terrorist’s web sites and propaganda.

After about 2 months I started to contact people in Afghanistan and Iraq. I was happy to learn how many felt the extremists/radicals were terrible people and not true Muslims and how much they wanted their freedoms and to be rid of the terrorists.

"Currently Al Qaeda and other Terrorists get 15 minutes of Fame for evil deeds, Lets turn that around and make it 15 minutes of Shame." - Ian Bach

So I continued my efforts urged on by touching letters from Muslims who hate the terrorists and their propaganda that infects their News as well as ours News and the Internet. Currently Al Qaeda and radical Muslims get the 15 minutes of fame for saying hateful things and showing videos of them blowing up American vehicles, beheading people who help in the efforts to bring peace, and now Al Qaeda is even wants and has tried to kill the Dali Lama. But when do we see the other side the other 99.97 % of the Muslims who are not hateful people. That's the biggest problem we don't. The news doesn't make money off a nice Muslim person saying how much he wants peace and how they denounce the extremists.

As I went on my journey I became more and more aware of how the enemy was changing tactics. One bad person, someone else had found was posing as a NY police officer (I hope you see the connection - 9/11?) he had sent many hateful emails to US troops and families. The guy even had a picture of the NY policeman and was using the guy’s name. I had already seen many suspects that were posing as normal people but this was first time I had seen such outright arrogance.

One thing I can tell you from my journey is that the enemy has adapted and infiltrated into our main stream Medias and are currently influencing the way others view the world. They use deception in many ways. One is the constant talk of we must leave Iraq. For me that is a good sign in some ways. It shows me that they are so worried about losing Iraq to a democratic government that they are franticly trying every trick in the book to twist the realities into lies. Trust me there are many good things happening in Iraq like our troops having been retrained in "winning the hearts and minds" a counterinsurgency tactic aimed at making friends and protecting them from the Al Qaeda and its umbrella organization of gangs’ hell bent on derailing the progress. Almost every Iraqi and coalition force member I speak to agree it is not a civil war it is a gang war. With people vieing for local power.

Also the one thing cited by most Iraqis is that the people responsible are foreign fighters from countries like Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and about 60 other countries including 1-2 a year from each Britain and the USA!!!. These are radical Muslims who are sent to Iraq to attempt to derail the progress. It includes approx. 600 foreign fighters caught or killed each year.

The radicals also have made the INTERNET their new home. FACT. This is their new recruiting base and propaganda machine. So next time you read something look at the persons profile and look at some of the Q&A they do. If you see all they are doing is hateful stuff..... Well you get the picture I hope.

Here is a link to a recent Article by the LA Times that talks about one operative a 22 year old Serbian of Palestinian decent. He was posting Videos on the internet given directly to him from al Qaeda. He had moved around a lot once he was in the organization and was very active in propaganda on the internet he also posted how to make a suicide vest and he was trying to buy explosives in the USA. He was caught in Europe and will be going to jail for a long time. - By Ian Bach
