Wahhabism in Qatar and Saudi Arabia

Get out your Google Earth and check look at Qatar this is a small country but it is significant in the war on terror. There are many followers of Wahhabism here. Wahhabism started in mid 1700s in Saudi Arabia. Wahhabism faded out for many years up until about the early 1900's

It has spread now to many other Countries. These include Pakistan, Algeria, Somalia, Sudan, Qatar, Palestine, Serbia, Bosnia, and now it is being spread throughout Europe, Americas, Southeast Asia, and even Australia. Saudi Arabia has been a big producer of propaganda magazines to spread Wahhabism. In 2005 the US Senate started to take further actions against the hate propaganda.

Please understand not all Saudis' or Arabs are Wahhabist. But today most of the people approx. 90% mostly the poor and disenfranchised in Saudi Arabi are followers of wahhabism. The Royal Family are not followers and do not want Wahhabism. Since about 1995 Bin Laden and his followers have sought to takeover the power of the Saudi Royal Family and to overthrow the Saudi Arabian government. There are some very powerful and influential people and some Clerics in Saudi Arabia who preach and spread Wahhabism. One area is in the Southwest of Saudi Arabia is where Bin Laden spent much of his time in the Mosques as a young man. This is where he first started to learn about Radical Wahhabism and he started to practice and preach the hate and lies that wahhabism represents. End Note....

NOTE: People like Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Al Zarqawy, etc... are the preachers and teachers of Wahhabism today. End Note....

Bin Laden who is sorta the bastard child of royal family had syrian mother who his dad divorced soon after bin laden was born. Bin Laden has never been a true part of royal family, he was not included in family vacations and he has been described as a loner during his childhood years, and this may be part of reason he talks so bad about, and hates the Saudi Royal Family.

Prior to 911 Sudan wanted to kick Osama out of Sudan, But the Saudi royal family had already disowned him by this point because of his actions. It has been stated by many reputable sources that Sudan attempted to hand Bin Laden over to USA but the Clinton Administration did not want the Liabilities that may have occured. This is about the time that Osama went to Afghanistan.

(In fact my investigations and that of others has shown that the Clinton Administration made many mistakes most of these were due to white house lawyers who felt doing anything would have unknown implications.... Well it's too bad they didn't make the move when they had so many chances.)

Saudis themselves do not use the term "Wahhabi", preferring to call themselves Unitarians - believers in one indivisible deity.

Bin Laden supporter at anti-US rally in Karachi

The Wahhabia movement Started sometime, around 1748 AD. The movement faded out somewhat until about 1928 when an alliance was created between the Wahhabi religious movement and the House of Saud - the family that has ruled the Saudi kingdom since its creation in the 1930s. In daily life, the Saudi religious establishment - the ulema - have imposed strict segregation of the sexes, an absolute prohibition of the sale and consumption of alcohol, a ban on women driving and many other social restrictions. The rules are enforced by the "mutawa", or religious police, who patrol the streets and shopping centres on the look-out for anyone breaking the rules.

Taleban version
There are some similarities between the Saudi interpretation of Islam and that of the ruling Taleban movement in Afghanistan. The Taleban, too, represent an unusually strict form of Sunni Islam - and restrictions on women, for example, are even tighter than in Saudi Arabia. But the Taleban are not Wahhabis. They belong to what is known as the Deobandi movement, named after the small town of Deoband in the Indian Himalayas. It was here that the movement was founded, in the 1860s, during the period of British rule in India. Over time, the movement has become a broad umbrella, including in its ranks Muslims who wish to remain aloof from politics - and others, like the Taleban, who are politically militant. It would be wrong to see either Bin Laden or the Taleban as typical of modern Sunni movements. They represent a radical fringe, rather than the Sunni mainstream.

Al jazeera TV is a propaganda of hate and lies Wahhabi use this to Spread their lies and to create more fear and to recruit more followers.

Recently Al Jazeera TV started to air its hate and lies in English. But American Business men made sure that all TV networks and Cable Providers would not broadcast Al Jazeera in America. But the al Jazeera TV station has gained more listeners. Now Iran has announced a new 24/7 Satelite TV station and this is very bad for all the world.

Piracy on the seas off Somalia

South Korean cargo ship missing off Somalia Piracy feared

Topics in this article:

1. Sea Prince a South Korean cargo ship is missing after leaving Djibouti last month
2. U.N. Security Council was urged by a Maritime organization to help end piracy in the waters off Somali
3. Four ships are now confirmed to be in the hands of Somali pirates. The Sea Prince will make it five.
4. Officials cite 15 ship hijackings and attempted attacks off Somalia this year

I read an article on CNN and here is my take on it.

The ship is owned by a US company and managed by a Ukraine firm. From Russia and Chinas actions and push on vital issues like Darfur and Somalia and Ethiopia where china is supplying the most financial support than other countries but uses bad tactics. Here is the problem China won’t allow us via U.N. to interfere or get involved in ways we wish we could. I saw the democrats’ debate on the TV last night and all cited a no fly zone over Sudan/Darfur. They all said they would impose a no fly zone over Darfur. Fact is China won't let us do it. So they are making it seem as if they could do something bush hasn't tried already.

Also they didn’t mention Algeria, Egypt, or Somalia? Trust me it is as bad or worse the Iraq and Afghanistan in many areas. I just mentioned in North Afric. The Chinese financed governmet at the moment is supposibly trying to stop the Muslim against Muslim fighting in Sudan this is what caused dafur incident and the other Nations mentioned above. There are ties between all of them with same goal to take over North Afria make it all Arab Muslim Large Terrorist Nation. Sound a little Scary? Yes it is.(read my Article about the Arab group that wants to take over North Africa).

Here is problem with the piracy of boats off Somalia. The terrorists get free booty and make money to buy more weapons. As far as the boats I worry they may make a fleet of suicide bomb boats to attack our ships near this area, that are well within striking distance.

But fact is they would be sunk before they hit target. Unless they choose a non military target like cruise ship or supply ship. I say lets blow those boats out the water now. I know it may be some of the crew may be killed but I would hope not. Yet it needs to be done soon.

Also the terrorists or anarchists in Somalia are holding crews for ransom money.

The other 4 ships held by Somali pirates are 2 from Tanzania, 1 from Denmark and 1 from Taiwan. The pirates killed 1 Taiwanese captive this month, after the owners of his ship refused to pay a ransom.

In the CNN Article they write:

“The latest suspected hijacking was feared to have occurred a day after the International Maritime Organization, a U.N. agency said increasing attacks off Somalia this year was endangering vital aid shipments and commercial activity at sea.”

No really? Geez U.N. get active we are at war, get off your butts U.N. Especially China and Russia who are afraid to enter this war. I think it is like WW2 when USA took a while to enter the war thinking it won’t affect us. Russia and China must be thinking if they don’t help US they won’t be attacked. Their tactic has worked so far but for how long.

Japan is attempting to get U.N. to ok Japan to have a effective military and take part in ebbing the tide of terrorists that are infecting many Southeast Asia Countries.

Where are we fighting al-Qaeda?

America is at war with al Qaeda — on that surely we can agree — and we know that al Qaeda has bases in Pakistan. In fact, it is probable that Osama bin Laden resides at one of those bases. But we can’t fight al Qaeda in Pakistan because Pakistan is an ally, and America does not violate the territorial integrity of its allies.

Al Qaeda is active in Gaza, according to Egyptian and Jordanian intelligence. Al Qaeda supports Hamas which has just waged a bloody — and successful — civil war against Fatah, its Palestinian rival. But we’re not about to invade Gaza in pursuit of al Qaeda. Even Israel, which withdrew from Gaza two years ago, is not eager to return there. In Lebanon, Fatah al-Islam, which is fighting the Lebanese government, is believed to be linked to al Qaeda. But the last time U.S. troops were in Lebanon, they were attacked by suicide bombers dispatched by Hezbollah, a terrorist organization directed by the regime in Tehran. There is no way the U.S. is going to send troops into Lebanon again.

Groups linked to al Qaeda are in Somalia. We have supported Ethiopian troops fighting there. But a serious effort by Americans against al Qaeda in Somalia seems unlikely.Al Qaeda cells operate in Europe. But it is problematic for American operatives to kill or capture terrorists there: To do so sparks allegations from the “human rights community” and the media about violations of international law, torture and secret prisons. Also, as has happened in Italy, it can lead to criminal prosecutions of Americans thought to be involved. So America’s ability to fight al Qaeda in Europe is limited.
There are probably al Qaeda cells in the U.S. too. One hopes the FBI is monitoring them. But until the members of these cells commit crimes, there is not much that can be done. On what basis could Mohammed Atta, ringmaster of the 9/11/01 hijackers, have been arrested on 9/10/01? What’s more, some judges and legal activists are now insisting that even combatants illegally in the U.S. are entitled to all the rights enjoyed by American citizens. If this view prevails, fighting al Qaeda within the U.S. will become even harder.

People Who Feed Off Anarchy in Somalia Are Quick to Fuel It

GALKAYO, Somalia — Beyond clan rivalry and Islamic fervor, an entirely different motive is helping fuel the chaos in Somalia: profit.

The New York Times
Profiteers in cities like Galkayo see the government as a threat.
A whole class of opportunists — from squatter landlords to teenage gunmen for hire to vendors of out-of-date baby formula — have been feeding off the anarchy in Somalia for so long that they refuse to let go.

They do not pay taxes, their businesses are totally unregulated, and they have skills that are not necessarily geared toward a peaceful society.

In the past few weeks, some Western security officials say, these profiteers have been teaming up with clan fighters and radical Islamists to bring down Somalia’s transitional government, which is the country’s 14th attempt at organizing a central authority and ending the free-for-all of the past 16 years.

They are attacking government troops, smuggling in arms and using their business savvy to raise money for the insurgency. And they are surprisingly open about it.

Omar Hussein Ahmed, an olive oil exporter in Mogadishu, the capital, said he and a group of fellow traders recently bought missiles to shoot at government soldiers.

“Taxes are annoying,” he explained.

Maxamuud Nuur Muradeeste, a squatter landlord who makes a few hundred dollars a year renting out rooms in the former Ministry of Minerals and Water, said he recently invited insurgents to stash weapons on “his” property. He will do whatever it takes, he said, to thwart the government’s plan to reclaim thousands of pieces of public property.
