Do not click or go to the web site I will link the Instant Message here so you can be sure to avoid contacting or clicking on these types of scams. Also I want people to know what these scams look like. This is the first time I ever got a Instant message on yahoo that was a lotto/bank scam.

If it sounds to good to be true, it most likely is fake!!!

FBI Warns Of E-Card Scam

The FBI and the greeting card industry are warning people of fraudulent emails that claim to contain an electronic greeting card from an anonymous individual, such as a "friend" or "classmate."

The fraudulent emails, which claim to be from legitimate greeting card companies, tell consumers to click on a link in the email message to view their e-card. Clicking on the link can possibly expose a person's computer to a virus.

"If you get an e-mail claiming you've received an e-card from a generic 'friend' or 'family member' rather than from someone whose name or personal e-mail address you recognize, the e-mail is fraudulent and should be immediately deleted," says John Hambrick, Unit Chief of the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center.

"Do not follow any of the instructions in the e-mail or click on any link."

For people who are not sure if an e-card notice is legitimate, the Greeting Card Association recommends that they go directly to the publisher's Web site to receive an e-card, instead of clicking on the link in the email.

Never give up never surrender

I decided that because there is so many times that I want (or need) to vent and times I just want to get stuff off my chest. It is bad to keep stuff bottled up inside and publishing my personal life on my counter terrorism Blog is not the place for it.

I don't want to distract from my goals here about creating awareness and bring real News, and News about good things that the Media doesn't talk about.

I also want to keep this Blog focused on my most important goal of exposing terrorist propaganda and creating awareness.

I also plan to start to add info here on yahoo360 on how to stay safe while surfing the web, how to ignore/block unwanted comments from jerks, and mean people. I will attempt to teach how to keep you and your computer safe and clean from spyware, viruses, phishing, bank scams, and identity theft.
