Most the caves around this area near Lizards Rock are sandstone. The wind and water erodes the rock in interesting shapes. There is also many caves, some of which still have old Chumash Indian paintings on the walls. Here I am in a cave that overlooks Isle Vista where Santa Barbara College is located.
This picture is about 5 years old. The drawings on the walls of this cave is graffetti, not Chumash Indian art.
